Mr. Janis Kazocins gave a lecture at PSSI's NATO Summer School 2015 that took place in July 2015 in Merin, Czech Republic. Mr. Kazocins deliver a lecture entitled "Article V. and Collective Defense."

Kazocins Janis
Jānis Kažociņš was born in UK of Latvian parents. He is a graduate of RMA Sandhurst (the officer training school for the British Army). After a career of 30 years in the British Army, serving in Northern Ireland and helping to plan the first Gulf War, he retired early in August 2002 with the rank of Brigadier in order to live permanently in Latvia. In May 2003 and again in May 2008 he was appointed Director of the Constitution Protection Bureau (SAB) by the Latvian Parliament (Saeima) for a period of 5 years. Since June 2013 he has been an Adviser to the Minister of Defence and since October 2013 to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
