Is the future of energy sector in renewable energy or do we see just a temporary fashionable trend? What are the main threats and prime agruments of critics?

Not only about these topic will talk Mr. Albert Juanola Freixas, Head of offshore wind at ČEZ company. To be able to fully understand functioning and influence of renewables on energy sector and economy, we will briefly go trough the basic technical principles of renewables and then discuss the business and economic side. Aslo we will take apart if or when the renewables can be competitive enougt with traditional sources of energy.

The lecture will take place in a room RB 210 at 7.45 p.m. and will be held in English.
