PSSI, in cooperation with the Institute of Political Studies at the Charles University and the American Center in Prague, invites you to the third lecture in a series of four lectures on the topic of Space Security.

Mr. Asbeck will provide an overview of the development of space security policy in the EU, introduce how space is organized in EU institutions and shed light on inter-institutional interaction concerning space security issues.

Mr. Asbeck is the Principal Adviser for Space and Security Policy at the European External Action Service (EEAS), previously serving as the Director of the European Union Satellite Centre (EU SatCen), and Deputy Director of the former Western European Union Satellite Centre. He started his professional career at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London, dealing with military usage of space and arms control.
