By inviting speakers who are the key stakeholders in the respective field, we will encourage our attendees to understand the importance of making a shift towards drinking tap water by disclosing the way it gets to their glasses.

Representatives of Budapest Waterworks, Budapest Sewage Works Pte Ltd. and a civil initiative called “Ivócsap Projekt” (Drinking Tap Project) will provide factual evidence proving that in most parts of Hungary, but especially in Budapest, the quality of water meets all requirements which should allow us to drink it without involving any additional filtering equipment.

Therefore, drinking ‘csapvíz’ (tap water) serves our health and the planet, and contributes to the reduction of plastic bottled water usage, which harms the environment.
