The Prague Centre for Transatlantic relation of the CEVRO Institute (PCTR) invites you to a public lecture “The Future of Conservatism in Europe”. The event will take place on Thursday, December 1 from 5:00 pm in the atrium of the CEVRO Institute (Jungmannova 17, Prague 1).
The lecture will be held with the participation of John O’Sullivan, a British conservative political commentator, journalist, President of Danube Institute and former senior policy writer and speechwriter for Margaret Thatcher; Stanislav Balík, the Czech political scientist, historian and writer. The discussion will host Gerald Frost, deputy director of Danube Institute, writer, editor, founder and former director of the London-based Centre for Policy Studies and the Institute for European Defence and Strategic Studies; Alexander Tomský, the Czech political scientist, publisher, pedagogue, writer, commentator, journalist and translator. The Guests will be introduced and discussion will be moderated by the Director of the PCTR Alexander Vondra.
The lecture will be in English. Interpretation to Czech language will be provided. Due to organizational matters, we kindly ask you to confirm your participation to November 30.
