The Square cordially invites you to a public lecture by Jan Ruzicka, Director of the David Davies Memorial Institute at Aberystwyth University and Deutsch Security Square advisory board member, titled 'The Problem of Nuclear Weapons: Security Community as an Alternative Solution?' In the lecture, Jan will argue that nuclear weapons were an important factor in Karl Deutsch's thinking about security community, and will explore of the concept might offer an alternative solution to the problem of nuclear weapons that we continue to face today. Join us for the lecture and the following debate on Wednesday, 30 Sept. 2015, 5 p.m. at the Jinonice campus of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Room J4015.
